  22. If you have the HD space, you're better off using 24bit IFF or Targa as 
  23. your source to the PC. If, on the PC end you're recompiling the already 
  24. JPEGed PAR frames into another JPEG/MPEG/QT/AVI format you will lose 
  25. quality. The compression algo on the PC will like the full color space of 
  26. raw frames and do a better job.

  28. On the other hand, transferring 100's of 24bit frames over ethernet is a 
  29. time-consuming process. You can use some kind of lossless compression 
  30. like lha, arc, zip etc., whatever you can deal with on both ends.

  32. You might also consider Syquest cartridges, it's easy to read and write 
  33. MS-DOS Syquests on the Amiga. If you need the mountlist for it, let me know.
